About the event

Let’s harness the energy of this powerful New Moon in Capricorn and the start of 2024 (an 8 year in numerology) to bring in more structure into our lives and create the daily habit of gifting ourselves with self-healing, love, and compassion, and also sending it out to the collective unconscious to heal our beautiful home planet and all of its inhabitants.

This challenge not only works as a “buddy system” to help you (and me) stick with it and getting into the habit of starting off our day with a brief Qi Gong and Meditation practice, but it also helps generate a much more powerful energy, as when we meditate as a group, the energy that is created is exponentially greater than the sum of its parts.

It is a good idea for all of us to develop, cultivate, and clear our physical and energy bodies by learning how to sense and work with energy, all of which can be accomplished through the practice of Qi Gong. For this part of the sessions, we will be following a series of daily, 10-15 minute Qi Gong sequences created by Sifu Bodhi on his YouTube Channel “Bodhi Acupunture & Wellness”. These Qi Gong sequences focus on four different themes each week: Flexibility, Mobility, Strength, and Energetic Stimulation, and they all include breathing techniques, organ system stimulation, and emotional release. Important note: Even if you are not physically able to do some or any of the Qi Gong exercises at this time, you can mentally visualize yourself doing them, and it will have an effect on both your physical and energy bodies, so don’t let that stop you from joining in!

For the second part of the daily sessions, we will be doing different Tara meditation practices. For those of you who are not familiar with her, Green Tara is the Feminine Buddha of Compassion. She is a single energy that embodies 21 different aspects or emanations that you can call in, as needed. Her promise is that she will come to help just by saying her name, even if you have never uttered a single repetition of her mantra. Green Tara is also one of the few Buddhas who’s practice does not require initiation or transmission. She is here to help all of us, irrespective of our religious or spiritual beliefs, and I think we could all use a little bit of that right about now, both at the personal and collective levels.

That said, in Buddhism, it is believed that you achieve Siddhi, or the fruit of the practice, by accumulating repetitions of the mantra, anywhere from 10,000 up to 100 million repetitions, depending on the practice. BUT (and here’s the added bonus), the greatest benefit of doing her practice in a group setting is that the number of mantras we accumulate as a group is as if you had done the same number of repetitions yourself. For example, if you repeated the mantra 108 times per day, on your own, it would take you a little less than 3 whole years to complete 100,000 repetitions. On the other hand, if 33 people join the challenge and each of us repeats the mantra 108 times per day, by the end of the challenge each of us will have accumulated 99,792 repetitions. Sounds like a plan, doesn’t it?

And because the Green Tara practice is all about dissolving fear, and sending healing, wisdom, love, and compassion to all beings, we will also be exponentially multiplying the effect on other participants, but more importantly, on the collective unconscious as a whole, as compared to what we could achieve individually on our own.

This is FREE event. Live online sessions will be held every day at 10 AM EST, starting on January 11, 2024 and ending on February 9, 2024. All you need to do to register for the event is create a free Member account at www.apapach-arte.com and RSVP to the event to get access to the Zoom link and Google Spreadsheet with links to YouTube videos/recordings in case you are unable to attend live,. However, I strongly encourage you to attend live as often as you can, as live attendance generally makes it easier for most of us to connect into the energy of the group. This is not to say that you will not be able to access this energy if you are only able to watch the recordings… it just feels more powerful when more of us are present, even if it's online.
